As an active disc golfer, I’m often approached with the age-old question “So, what discs do you throw?” or “So, what discs do you bag?”, so I thought I’d fill everybody in on what I carry.

First, be known, I’m now over 50 and my wrist speed isn’t nearly what a lot of younger people’s are, so I throw a lot of understable discs. Often I even struggle to keep THEM from going left. Where most people use something like an Underworld or Queen to flip all the way over and roll, I get an S-curve out of them that ends up usually fading back to the left. Most people get a Beast and Wraith to actually fade right, I don’t. With single turn, I can only get about 275’ and with an S-curve I can get about 310’, WAY shorter than somebody that’s played as much as I have.

Anyways, here’s what in the bag!

Putters:
Classic EMac Truth (Dynamic) - Been bagging it for 4+ months and has done very well for me, the perfect amount of predictability
SSS Wizard (Gateway) - This was my main putter for 9 years, still back it as a ‘safety blanket’
Soft Woodchuck (Daredevil) - This is similar to a Koi or the other ‘floppy’ discs. I use it a few times a round when I have to protect from runaway/rollaway putts.

Mids:
10-Year Z Buzzz (Discraft) - I have always bagged a Z Buzzz. This was a rare find and I love it. No aces yet but a bunch of near misses.
Gold Line Fuse (Latitude 64) - can do a lot with this disc and my go-to for approaches 50-120’
G-Star Roc3 (Innova) - the slightest bit of predictable fade
Cryztal Z Zone (Discraft) - beefcake for my weenie arm, but a couple of times a round, I’ll need a steep backhand or forehand discs
Lucid-X Culprit (Handley Tour Series) - fits nicely between the Roc3 and the Zone

Drivers:
Tournament Queen (Westside) - S curves for days, when thrown correctly, one of my longest discs
Tournament King (Westside) - generally pretty beefy, this one is very well worn so can actually flip up for me
VIP Chameleon King (Westside) - much beefier than my other King, this one is almost strictly forehand
Z Archer Fly Dye (Discraft) - one of the straightest discs I’ve ever thrown at low-to-medium speeds, consistent right turn when thrown hard
ESP FLX Scorch (Discraft) - absolutely love this plastic, super grippy like Innova G-Star, very workable disc
Spectrum Air D4 (Prodigy) - super understable disc for when I need to have long distance that finishes right
Tournament Orbit Sword (Westside) - my go-to forehand disc, love it!
Opto-X Glimmer Explorer (Latitude 64) - a great workable disc, little on the beefier side, so even flip-ups fight out
Titanium Undertaker (Discraft) - another great workable disc that I can throw forehand or backhand, similar to the Explorer

Gear:
FADE Limited Edition Tournament bag
Dynamic Disc shoulder straps
Various hand chalks - Birdie, WhaleSac, etc.
