Frequently Asked questions
Q1. Do you ship?
A1. Yes, we absolutely ship. We will ship to Continental US for $5 for the first disc and $2 for each disc after. Discs will come with cardboard protector in a bubble-wrap mailer or box, depending on the size of the order.
Q2. What is an X/O (X-Out) and F2 and why?
A1. An X/O or F2 is a cross-out, or a factory second, Using X/O or F2 discs allows us to save a few dollars per disc, which in turn makes them more affordable for you. Ours are cosmetic blemishes, typically a little spec of black or gray in the plastic, or sometimes a small air bubble, nothing that would affect the usability and often gets hidden with a dye. We are open about which of our discs are X/O and will be noted as such.
Q3. Why are the discs so expensive?
A3. Unfortunately dyeing the baseline plastic isn’t an option, they don’t take dye. So dyeing the cheap $6-$8 discs doesn’t work, which means we’re buying premium plastic discs (Innova’s Champion, Star, and G-Star plastic, Prodigy’s 400 Series plastic, Latitude 64’s Opto and Gold plastic, etc.). That means we’re spending $10-$12 a disc. Each disc has anywhere from 30-120 minutes into the dyeing process. Our most expensive discs are $25, so we’re making pennies.
Q4. Will the dyes fade?
A4. Dyes will fadeand blur, it’s inevitable, especially on the cheaper plastics. Usually it’s a little, sometimes it’s significant. We use the industry’s best dyes and thoroughly wash each of our discs after dyeing to make sure it represents the way it looks when we sell it to you. Plastics like Discraft X and Innova Pro and G-Star will fade or blur quicker than other plastic. I don’t do many things in those plastics, but I definitely do some.
Q5. I removed the sticker from my disc but it left a residue, what do I do?
A5. My tape comes off easy and clean on some discs and wants to stick to others. The residue can be cleaned up by several ways. The best I’ve found is the Goo Gone product, it takes the sticky stuff off without removing ink. They have it at the Dollar Tree store for $1. If you can’t get that, using a little finger nail polish, paint thinner, or acetone on a napkin, paper towel, or rag will also work. Please don’t touch any dyed area or factory ink/stamp or they could both disappear.
Q6. Why so many Innova discs?
A6. As much as I’d like to have a plethora of all brands to work with, I have discounted rate availability to only a few different brands, Innova being one. Innova makes getting their factory seconds accessible at fair prices, so that’s what I tend to lead on when I need new ‘canvases’. I do try to get my hands on as many molds that I can, but sometimes what’s offered is limited, that’s a bit out of my control.
Q7. I tried buying your disc online but it gives me an error when I try to checkout, why?
A7. Thanks for trying, we appreciate it. Unfortunately, we juggle inventory from onsite, a local shop, Facebook, the website, and live events like tournaments. For that reason, we have disabled checkout from the website to avoid somebody buying a disc that is no longer available. If you’re interested in a disc, just reach out via e-mail (jasonsjungle@yahoo.com) or via text (317-738-9573) and we’ll get you going!
